The Boat


A SecondLife sailing adventure by Nahoga and Aoshi Watanabe.



The NAO Log Book is relating the Nahoga and Aoshi Watanabe SecondLife Open Seas (Continents) Tour.
It's been a long time since the idea of sailing around the world turned in my head, and the trigger was this boat :




The SkipJack Katerina from the ReneMarine Shipyard :

 The skipjack is a traditional fishing boat used on the Chesapeake Bay of Maryland and Virginia for oyster dredging. It is a sailboat which succeeded the bugeye as the chief oystering boat on the bay, and it remains in service due to laws restricting the use of powerboats in the Maryland state oyster fishery.

 After a repainting, the addition of Navigations Lights for sailing at night and be conform with the navigation rules the boat get is certification of GTFO ECO Freighter and we embark for our world tour.
